Nahid Shirzadkhan
To make a statement in the world of design, one should certainly have an eye for detail, to spot promising new design opportunities and gaps in the design world to create archetypes. Having studied and practiced architecture and design for more than a decade, Nahid has managed to obtain such qualities. Ever since moving to the US, she has been presented with other formidable challenges working in multiple positions simultaneously in different organizations, namely Medical Device Designer at UIC Innovation Center, Design Consultant at Orange Skin, Teaching assistant at UIC, Design Expert at Center for Canine Behavior Studies, and president of the UIC IDSA student chapter. But for such opportunities, she would not have been capable of honing the skills deemed necessary for success.
Nahid's strength in design research is a key factor that sets her apart as a talented designer and is evident in all of her work. She has a unique ability to gain insights through research and leverage them to ideate innovative concepts and archetypes that create a meaningful impact on people's life. Her meticulous attention to detail and dedication to her craft has enabled her to create designs that not only look great but also deliver exceptional user experiences.
Nahid is keenly passionate about creating designs that make two of the most innocent creatures in the world - children and dogs - happy. She strives to create designs that enrich the lives of both humans and their furry companions, especially children and dogs. Her designs aim to create fun, interactive, and safe experiences that deepen the bond between children and their furry friends.
Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work on a number of incredible design projects that have allowed her to grow and establish herself within this competitive design industry. She hopes you’ll enjoy viewing her projects as much as she enjoyed working on them. Go ahead and explore, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to learn more.
